CoffeeHouse

A Salt Lake City institution for 40+ years (40 as of 2017)!  The CoffeeHouse takes place at Eliot Hall at The First Unitarian Church on 1300 East 569 South in Salt Lake City.  This is a great listening room environment for acoustic musicians and their fans.

The second Friday of each month is the open-mic version of The CoffeeHouse.  Sign-ups are at 6:30 and the music begins at 7:30.  Each performer is allowed a 15 minute set of original or cover songs.   The Open-mic runs from September thru May.

The fourth Friday of each month is the hosted version of The CoffeeHouse.  A notable local music personality will host that evening inviting some of the region’s best and brightest musicians to do a short set.  Music also begins at 7:30. The hosted edition runs from September through April.

The cost for this  event is $5.00 and FREE coffee is provided by The Coffee Garden on 9th & 9th in SLC.  Food and beverages including wine and beer are allowed,  although the church request no hard alcohol.  For further information contact Guy Benson at iamaedit@iamaweb.org
