About the Series
The IAMA Local Concert Series (LCS) events are held on the first Friday of each month from October through May. The concert venue is South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society (SVUUS) at 6876 South Highland Drive in Cottonwood Heights. Our program consists of notable local acoustic performers.
Shows begin at 7:00 PM sharp (though doors open much earlier) and generally run until about 9:00. A short intermission always separates two sets.
General admission entry is $15 (or $10 for IAMA members). You can renew, or get your IAMA membership online, or when you arrive at the concert. Check out the amazing benefits you’ll get!
Alcoholic beverages are Not Allowed at the SVUUS, but you may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. A limited number of tables are available to dine with your music friends, so come early to get a good spot!
We hope to again sponsor some of those wonderfully entertaining and educational pre-concert workshops, so be sure to check specific concert details when they are advertised on our home page.
We have had various limitations for our audience sizes over the past two years due to Covid-19, but recently those constraints have been lifted. Since we cannot forecast the future, remember to check the home page for any concert-specific rules.
