Salt Lake City locals Steve Lewis and Lou Vee have joined forces to create a satisfying acoustic blues experience, blending their unique styles and decades of experience, the duo have created a sound that pays homage to the roots of the blues while adding a modern twist that is sure to please listeners.

Victoria Sorensen & The Jackson Jills

Singer Songwriter Victoria Sorensen from Park City followed by local favorites The Jackson Jills, playing your favorite Americana Bluegrass tunes.

A native Californian, Victoria Sorensen has been singing and writing music since she was 11 years old. Post-college, she played the L.A./Hollywood singer/songwriter circuit for several years including co-writing a theme song for the America’s Cup yacht race, as well as a co-writing a featured song for a holiday memorial tribute to Karen Carpenter performed with Richard Carpenter. After an extensive career in the corporate world, in recent years she has returned to her passion for songwriting and performing now residing in the mountain resort area of Park City, Utah. Her vocal and writing style has been described as warm and expressive, with rich tones influenced by Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Karen Carpenter, Joni Mitchell, Christine McVie and Brandi Carlile

Having always loved the art of storytelling, her original compositions capture authentic messages and themes ranging from relationships to nature to simply living each day to the fullest in every season of life. Her versatility in writing in several different genres (Singer-songwriter, Country, Americana, R&B, Pop) make her a unique “find” on a variety of playlists. 

Her music is currently streaming everywhere you listen and her DEBUT full album will be released in November 2024.

Showtime is 7:00 PM  6876 South Highland Dr. General Admission at the door.  $15 non members/$10 IAMA Members.

Formed in 2016, the Jackson Jills is a local favorite, playing a mix of Americana, Swing, Bluegrass and originals.  The JJ’s features award-winning instrumentals and strong vocals. 

The band line-up includes Rex Flinner, who has been a leader in the Intermountain acoustic music scene for nearly 40 years.  Rex is a Winfield Flatpicking award winner, who is also known for playing banjo and mandolin. Rex has played with a variety of bands such as the Oquirrh Ridge Drifters, The Cowdaddies, Loose Ties, Mr. Whoopee, the Susan Bush Band and others.  

Steve Lutz is  a multi-year award IAMY winning dobro player and plays guitar and sings.  Steve has played with local favorites Tangle Ridge, Up Til Dawn and the Capital Reefers.  Steve is a soulful player and an engaging stage presence.  

Anastasia Lund, Utah State 2016 Fiddle Champion is an amazing young talent who showcases her solid musicianship.  In addition to the Jackson Jills, Anastasia also plays with the Railjumpers and a variety of other well known Utah bands.  Hearing her bow hit the strings is sheer delight. 

Janna Lauer on bass is known and beloved by the acoustic community as the founder of Heart & Soul.  Janna has played with Riding the Faultline, the RailJumpers, Somewhat Faithful. Janna lays down solid bass and swings her way into your heart.

Paige Meriwether plays guitar and provides lead and harmony vocals.  Many of you may know Paige from her work at KUED.
